It provides moderate impact resistance in a slimline, packable form factor due to its use of an EN 1621-1 certified d3o protective insert. The chassis of the pad is articulated for optimised pedalling dynamics and the Fitlock compression calve band and honeycomb design silicone leg gripper ensure that the pad stays in place.
Who’s this item for: The Stage Kneepad sits in the middle of the TLD protective range. It offers better impact resistance and more shin coverage than the Speed pad and is more pedal-friendly than the Raid pad. The Stage sits right in the sweet spot that makes it perfect for aggressive trail riding and Enduro racing.
Protection Style: This is a slip-on pad with a visco-elastic d30 protective insert. The insert is soft and pliable when pedalling but stiffens up under impact to provide a moderate level of protection.
Materials: d30 protective insert, silicone leg grippers and a stretchy lycra material that holds the pads snugly in place.
